JAN 7, 2026 UPDATE: Be sure to also use the new 311 option to submit complaints directly to the city. 3300+ Chicagoans from 55+ ZIPs have added their names to our petition, and over 800 of them have used its own Incident field to relay reports and offer their perspectives. In our 1/7 newsletter, we shared that some have used this field to express concerns about potential surveillance and provided some example quotes.
DEC 2025 UPDATES (consolidated): Block Club Chicago, ABC7 Chicago, and NBC Chicago reported on the story, and we were on WGN Radio 720 at 5:20pm on Dec 8. Other outlets picked it up. In our 12/12 newsletter, we shared a few of the incident reports we've received that mention robot interference with emergency vehicles.NOV 2025 UPDATES (consolidated): We crossed 1000 on Thanksgiving Day (we were aiming for 250)!
